Soccer Days

Timothy is doing soccer for his 3rd year this year. In 2013 he was an Aztec, in 2014 he was on team Thunder, and now he is a Tiger. Unlike last year, this year there are all boy teams and all girl teams.

I still don't know how to do a squad snapshot
This year the Tigers have won two games and lost two games. Last night they were supposed to play a team, but the game was rescheduled because of lightning streaks. I am extremely afraid of storms. I'm glad I don't live in Oklahoma. At least I got to see my cousins!!!

DIY Hobby Box

Today I decided to show you how to make a "Hobby Box". The reason I call it that is because you can fill it with art supplies, a collection, and really anything. The materials you will need are:
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
Fabric (I used two different prints)
A shoe-box (I used a baby shoe-box)
You can use a ruler if you want to.

You need to glue fabric to the top, and the box part.

If you want to you can make a bow for the top of the box. That is optional.

I hope you enjoyed!!!

Autumn..... Again

To me, as you get older things go by more quickly. I guess life is a little bit like riding a bicycle. At first you are on training wheels, and you feel like you will never pick up speed. However, after a year of practice, you are able to ride the bike faster that ever. There are hills, turns, and bumps that you have to try and deal with, and occasionally wrecks.

This year Autumn came quicker than expected. Just like learning how to ride a bicycle. Last week it got fairly cool!! I'm really glad that I had gotten some new jeans, shoes, and tops.

How to Make a Tipi Tent

So a while ago I was very bored and I decided to make a tipi tent. It turned out better than I expected it would, so I'm going to post a picture of it and some simple instructions on how to make it.

This is what the first one looks like, but I made another one today. These tents are great for doing schoolwork, relaxing, reading, and watching movies.

WARNING: When hanging out in your tipi in the evening, wear lots of mosquito spray. You can guess what will happen if you don't.

They are also very easy to make!

You will need,
Four sheets

At least seven long sticks or garden stakes

A long piece of string
Maybe some safety pins

Once you have these items you can get started. Try to pick a location with no ants or dirt.

First take three poles and tie them together like I have in the picture.

Next lean a few other poles on the frame.

After that you will need to somehow attach the sheets to the frame. What I did was tie the ends of the sheet to the top, but you might could use safety pins.

I also decided to put a floor in my tipi.

Why did I do this??????

School......again

We started back to school a while ago. Don't get me wrong. I love doing language and history. I love doing science too. There is just one subject that I absolutely despise with all of my heart, and that subject is math. Don't take it the wrong way if you love math, but if you do love math, you have to have something wrong with you. All I have to say about math is "ain't nobody got time for that".

We have been doing school for six weeks already. Normally the weeks go by quickly, but every once in a while, there are days like today that feel like they will never end. It is already starting to be very pleasant outside. I have taken several pictures, I just need to find my cable so I can upload them.

Here are some pictures from my instagram.
