We Wish You A Merry Thanksgiving

I know I'm not the only person that listens to Christmas music in November.  How could you help it! Christmas music is the most beautiful kind of music out there. Not only am I listening to Christmas music, but I'm decking out my bedroom with lights, cozy blankets, golden ball ornaments, and candles. Anything to add an element of holiday cheer to my bedroom. I tried to get Mom to let me put up our wreath,  but some people don't feel the same as I do about things.... Anyway! This year our family is having Thanksgiving at our house. I am super excited about that!! Especially since we pretty much have a whole playground in our yard thanks to Mr. Miles! It is the coolest thing ever. It's gonna be so lit when all of the cousins come over this Thanksgiving. Plus we are going to put up a bunch of hammocks. So getting to some things I'm thankful for (in no specific order)...
  1. I'm thankful for God's love for me and all of His many blessings. Ever single one of these things I'm thankful for comes from Him.
  2. I'm thankful for all of my cousins. I don't say it enough, but I love every single one of them even though I tease them sometimes. They are like a designated group of friends that you can talk to about almost anything.
  3. I'm thankful for the amazing country that I'm blessed to live in. Now that Trump is our president many people bought tickets to go to Canada. And I don't support everything he stands for, but America will ALWAYS be the best place that anybody could ever live.
  4. I'm so thankful for 4-H and all of the friends I've made while being in 4-H. I have met some of the sweetest people in the world while running for board and serving on board. Plus I could never forget my Ben Hill County people!
There is so much more, but I'll leave it at that.

Fall ;)

I probably post about this every single year, but just know that I truly can't help it. I love fall! It's God's Creation at it's finest. I don't spend mush time outside in the summer because I can't stand the heat. Fall is great because of the cool mornings and nights, and the bearable afternoons. Plus, the colors are beautiful and vibrant. One of my favorite things about it has to be fall clothing, and all of the activities you can do. Next week we are going to a pumpkin patch, it's football season, and we had our first fall get together. Plus there are lots of church meetings to go to that aren't to far off. Every morning I go outside and run/walk for thirty minutes at about 7:30. I just love watching the fog rise from the pond in the morning and the dew covered webs (even though I hate spiders). ?????

NEW ROOM TOUR

I finally decided to sit down and work on my room tour! For the longest time, I have put this off, but now I decided to get to get it done. Our bedroom used to be yellow! I absolutely hated it, but it was Ericka who picked it out. I think she only picked that color because it was called "Goldilocks". It was your stereotypical tween bedroom I guess you could say. We changed our room up a lot. We didn't really like the twin beds so we got a queen sized bed. It was still pretty ugly though
This is a picture I took a while ago before we had the mirror. It shows what our bedding looks like. We moved the white table to Sadie and Ruby's new room recently.

This is a picture I took a while ago when I organized the top of my white dresser. Ericka puts her close in the built in drawers in our bunk bed.
We also added a door mirror, a lamp, and a canvas.

This picture shows my favorite side of the room. Ericka and I also have two baskets to put our school work in under the window om the right.

Ericka made these curtains, and we put a Bible verse on the chalk board.
One of my favorite things about my bedroom is the book shelf! On top of it we have trophies and lots of seashells.

This used to be blue, but Ericka painted it with stripes. I think it turned out well.
I hope you enjoyed this! Please know that I'm not at all trying to brag. We've worked hard to get our room to where it is now.

Today I decided to upload some pictures off of my camera. This used to be how I got all of the pictures for my blog until I started using my iPad and my iPhone.  Eventually I want to get a nice camera, but for now my iPhone will work.

So here are the pictures! I  only posted a few because they were taking forever to load.

Haircut Regrets...

So it's 10:56 p.m. and I'm writing this blog post because I was looking at pictures of me from 2015 - early 2016, and I really miss my long hair! When I got it cut in May, I absolutely loved it. It was a big difference, but it wasn't a strait up bob. It was growing back fairly quickly, and I decided to get it cut again. Well.... I told her that I wanted it cut to my shoulders. I know that I told her that, but I really didn't expect it to be that short. I hated it! Whenever I get complements I'm thinking to myself "thanks for lying to me". Because I know that it's ugly! Alas, it will grow back, but it might be couple more years until it looks like this.
Hopefully it will grow back soon........

Camp Picture

These Summer Night

I haven't really posted in a while. Things have been pretty busy. Three weddings, three summer camps, and three remodeling projects later, I've decided to post.

So to start at the beginning I would have to say that summer camp was one of the best experiences of my life. Not to be stereo typical, but I really did make great friends and great memories. As far as the beach goes, it was beautiful. Especially at high tide, and night time.

I also did the put off project (my bedroom). It had been painted, but it just wasn't quite done. I PROMISE, I will get those uploaded very soon. Also the boy's old bedroom is now Sadie and Ruby's. It's very...um....uh..pink. It really is cute for a little girl though! Plus the boy's room is now in the old study.

As far as weddings go, Ben (my cousin) and Heyward, got married recently! It was a gorgeous wedding, and the food was great! We did trash the car. What do you expect? We rolled it, dumped birdseed on it, and I taped black and white paper pom poms on it.

Also I went to Bro. Ric and Sis. Grace's wedding in Cartersville, GA in the party bus. The squad consisted of Grandma, James, Sara, Jarret, Me, and the ghost of Franklin D. Roosevelt. We got lost a few times, but we had fun. When we got to the motel we ate lunch with the Jay James's, and took a night swim. In the morning we got ready for the wedding. It was beautiful!
(I'll post pictures in another post by the way)

Until Next Time,

Summer Days

This summer has already gone by so fast! Summer camp is soon, and I literally cannot wait! It has been busy, but I've had lots of fun. One thing that is weird to think about is all of the summers I've lived through. This is my 13th one, and honestly even though they can be humid mosquito filled days they always give you a good feeling!

Georgia Officer Training

GOT was one of the best weekends of my life! I made so many new friends, and I learned a lot about 4-H, and the rules and standards for officers. People that were once just friends are now my best friends, and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

After a while we had a snack break. Then I had a chance to talk with some other districts. We had about ten minutes. Then we got back to our class. When we were finally dismissed, we went back
to our cabin and went to bed. Well, some of them did. Sara, Madison, Kaylyn, and I talked until 2:30. I almost never stay up that late at Rock Eagle.

When we first got to GOT we all went to our district's table. At all of the other tables there were other junior boards. At the tables there was play dough, candy, pencils, and a notepad. The classes lasted a long time so they thankfully gave us something to play with.

The next day we had a dance, bonfire, etiquette class, and hours of classes. We also got to plan this year's Junior Conference.

On Sunday we had to leave. It's sad saying goodbye, but at least I'll see some of them at camp, and all of them at Junior Conference.

Now we just have to plan our skit for this coming Junior Conference.
