School, Soccer, And A Baby Grand Piano

On Tuesday of last week our family started back to school. It has been going pretty well, and the weeks seem to go by quickly. For school Ericka is reading Little Women for her literature, and I am reading The Incredible Journey. I would much rather have to read Little Women, because I just don't like animal books. I might not be able to read Ericka's literature book for my school, but I can read it aside from school. I also am doing Spanish on the school computer. The one thing that is really annoying is that I have to wait until the room is empty. Ben does not have to wait because he has to learn a language in high school. I am always wanting to do Ben and Ericka's schoolwork. One thing I wouldn't want to do is Ben and Ericka's algebra. I intensely dislike math even though I'm not that bad at it. It's just so boring. Sadie doesn't cause many distractions like I thought she would. She normally just sits on a chair and colors with crayons and a piece of paper. These past two Wednesdays she has gone to playschool with her cousin John Mark.

We live very close to our cousins Lillie, Becca, John Mark, and Abi. In fact there is only one house between us. Tim, Lillie, and Becca are all doing soccer this year so we have been having a soccer practice. We use Tim's soccer goal and an old swing set frame for the other goal. Ericka, Lillie, and I are all on team "Fro Yo". We have done it every evening since Monday. We don't do it in the day time because of the heat. Last year Tim and Lillie were on the same team. There team name was Aztecs. Even though they may not be on the same team this year, they are sure to have lots of fun.

Our family is going to be housing the baby grand piano that our Uncle Jim is buying. I don't know all of the details, but it will be at our house tomorrow. Daddy, Uncle Paul, and Uncle Jim are going to have to somehow get it into our house without breaking the piano or denting the wall. I hope that the Lord Family Furniture Movers haven't lost there moving abilities. The piano was made in 1905.....it is probably the oldest thing in our house. I think it will be cool to have another piano in our house. We could do things like duets without having to share the same piano. We will have to wait two weeks or so to get the piano tuned though, but the second that it has been completely tuned, I'm sure that Ben will play it alot.
