Cloverleaf DPA 2015

Saturday was a very exciting day for me! I got to go to Cloverleaf District Project Achievement (DPA). Another thing was that Mama and Daddy couldn't make it. At first I was pretty nervous because I had always had at least one family member. Ben and Ericka were there at DPA, but they are board members so they have several duties, like helping with the food.

This year for DPA I did the category, creative stitchery. In 2014 I did crafts, but since
I got first place in that category I couldn't do it again. I love sewing, so that wasn't a problem. I had to make several trips to Grandma's so I could make an apron! One time when I came I was so tired that I just burst out crying!(I'm not dramatic!!!!!)

So when I got there I started fearing the worst. I was thinking crazy things like, what if I get left behind, and what if I mess up!!!! When I got safely to my room I felt less nervous and more excited! I was the last person to go, and I was tired and hungry. I asked someone where the cafeteria was and then I ate. The food was a chicken sandwich and a huge cookie.

After I ate I went and saw Ben and E.J. and I met up with someone that I saw at Ben and Ericka's DPA. Soon afterwards was the awards assembly! I was getting discouraged because the girl I was up against did pretty well, but finally they called my name. I got first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After that me and my crew, Ben and Ericka, basically got lost! We walked all around the middle school for a long time, but we finally found the 4-H van!!!!!! Our 4-H leader bought all of us a treat at DQ and then we went home. I loved this DPA and I will always remember it!
